Netflix dropped the trailer for the upcoming German superhero action-comedy film Freaks - You're One of Us.

The film follows Wendy (Cornelia Gröschel), a mom and fast food worker who discovers she has super strength and invulnerability, powers that her medication had suppressed her entire life. Soon, she and her co-worker Elmar (Tim Oliver Schultz), who has electrical powers and wants to claim the "superhero name" Electro Man, discover that other ordinary people with various powers exist. They are gathered together by a mysterious homeless man named Marek (Wotan Wilke Möhring). As they question what they should do with their powers and deal with the ramifications their powers have on their personal lives, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a conspiracy that may have given them their powers in the first place.
