Franklin Richards is the son of the Fantastic Four's Reed and Sue Richards, and he has at times been classified as beyond omega-level, which is the highest level of power classification used for mutants in the Marvel universe. Franklin has recently chosen Powerhouse as his superhero alter ego, and he's shown repeatedly over the years why he deserves the name.

The X-Men are currently trying to recruit Franklin to join them on Krakoa and begin training with them due to the depletion of his powers in X-Men/Fantastic Four, so we wanted to take a look back at a few of Franklin's more impressive feats that classify him as an omega-level mutant... or beyond.

10 ALMOST WIPED OUT A SOLAR SYSTEM

Technically, Franklin's powers (or his parents' irradiated metabolisms) were causing problems even in the womb, and when complications arose the FF were forced to use anti-matter energy obtained from the Negative Zone in order to save both Sue and the baby. The energy came from the Cosmic Rod of Annihilus, who would later kidnap baby Franklin to use his potential power.

After Annihilus unlocked Franklin's ultimate potential power, he was unable to control it's energy as he was just a baby, and Reed was forced to place his child in a coma using an anti-matter weapon to prevent a psionic blast that would have killed every living being in the solar system.

9 TOOK OUT MEPHISTO

Mephisto is basically the devil in Marvel's Universe, one of the Lords of Hell who delights in torture and bargaining for souls. He is an incredibly powerful demon who can also reshape reality, yet Franklin Richards has taken him down with very little effort, even for a baby.

Mephisto had captured the souls of Reed, Sue, and Franklin Richards and brought them down to Hell, though while he was torturing Reed and Sue, Franklin was trapped behind a crystal. Doctor Strange broke the crystal and freed young Franklin, who woke up and quickly obliterated the "Bad Man" with powerful energy blasts from his eyes.

8 GALACTIC TELEPATHY AT A YOUNG AGE

Technically, Franklin Richards' omega-level ability is his reality-warping, however, he exhibits a number of psionic abilities that rival other omega-level mutants like Jean Grey and Quentin Quire. And he displayed these abilities while he was still a small child.

Unbeknownst to his parents, Franklin was also known as Tattletale and was a part-time member of Power Pack, where he used his prophetic dream abilities to tap into events happening sometimes galaxies away. And not to belabor the point, but he was still well before the age of puberty when mutant powers usually become active.

7 SENT HIS SISTER TO ANOTHER DIMENSION

Franklin isn't an only child, though that was almost the case as Reed and Sue's second child, who was conceived in the Negative Zone, was stillborn, despite help from the best scientists in the Marvel Universe. Franklin had trouble coping with the loss of his sibling, so he traveled back in time and saved the baby by transporting her to another dimension.

There she became Valeria Von Doom and was raised by her mother and a heroic Doctor Doom, growing to become the powered hero known as Marvel Girl. Valeria Von Doom would return to the mainstream universe and be instrumental during a battle with the powerful cosmic being known as Abraxas.

6 RESURRECTED GALACTUS

After the Death of Galactus storyline resulted in the escape of Abraxas from his prison within Eternity, he planned to destroy reality using the immensely powerful Ultimate Nullifier. This brought him into conflict with the Fantastic Four, who knew where the weapon was located.

Following the destruction of alternate realities and the near destruction of the Fantastic Four, Franklin Richards combined his powers with that of his returned sister Valeria Von Doom in order to resurrect Galactus, which turned the tide of the battle and "reset" reality, which resulted in the successful birth of Valeria Richards in the mainstream reality.

5 CREATED MULTIPLE POCKET DIMENSIONS

Most of Franklin's feats up to this point have largely been undefined blasts of power that touch on some of the higher functions of his ability, such as time travel and dimensional travel. But Franklin's true omega-level ability is his ability to warp reality, which he has displayed a few times as a child by creating pocket dimensions.

When his family and the Avengers were seemingly killed by Onslaught, Franklin recreated them on a Counter-Earth he kept in his ball. While they were gone he went traveling with the Daydreamers across alternate realities, which were later revealed to have been created by Franklin. And he even created a pocket dimension play place that he hid in his closet.

4 TRAINED HIMSELF FROM THE FUTURE

It was in his closet play place he first encountered a figure who would begin to train young Franklin and steer his imagination towards making the world a better place. That figure was eventually revealed to be an adult Franklin from the future, who had reawakened Franklin's abilities after the battle with Abraxas had resulted in the loss of his abilities.

The Future Franklin that appeared in Jonathan Hickman's run is not to be confused with the older version of Franklin known as Psi-Lord, who had been raised in the future by his time-traveling grandfather Nathaniel Richards. Psi-Lord was also powerful, but his abilities were siphoned by armor created for him by his grandfather, and Psi-Lord was eventually erased from continuity.

3 MADE GALACTUS HIS HERALD

Future Franklin and his adult sister Valeria would play a large role in the Fantastic Four's battle against the Mad Celestials, an alternate reality-offshoot of the Marvel Universe's cosmic beings who wanted to conquer the multiverse.

The adult Franklin from the future not only held his own against the Mad Celestials, but he also was able to resurrect a fallen Galactus from his time, who was then revealed to be serving as Franklin Richards' herald, proving just how powerful young Franklin is destined to become in the future.

2 MADE A FOOL OF THE CELESTIALS

Even as a child Franklin's abilities have proven capable of taking on cosmic forces like the Mad Celestials, as he exhibited during an earlier encounter with the same Mad Celestials his future self defeated with the aid of Galactus.

Franklin attempted to talk the Mad Celestials out of their plan, and they attacked him after analyzing his "beyond omega" power classification. Franklin instinctively nullified their attack by transforming it into flowers when it hit him and then proceeded to cause flowers to grow out of the Mad Celestials.

1 RECREATED THE MULTIVERSE

Following a series of incursions that brought about the end of the multiverse and led to the Secret Wars event, Doctor Doom used the reality-altering powers of the Molecule Man and the Beyonder to create Battleworld and make himself God.
