Frank Miller has returned to the cyberpunk dystopia of his original miniseries Ronin, sketching out the titular character.

Miller did the sketch for Jim Lee's ongoing charity auction. The sketch is currently up for auction on eBay with a price tag of $5,050 (at the time of writing). All proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC).

The titular Ronin is shown surrounded by cybernetic devices as he awakens in the future of New York. Though it has been over 30 years since the original miniseries was released, Miller's artwork looks like a lost page from the series.

Ronin was a six-issue miniseries written and illustrated by Miller that followed a masterless samurai as he sought to avenge the death of his master and kill the demon Agat. The samurai's quest led to him being resurrected in a futuristic New York, which had become a lawless wasteland.

BINC has joined forces with Lee and other artists to help support comic book shops in light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. All proceeds from the auction will go to support local shops. Other artists that have joined Lee's campaign include Bryan Hitch, Tony Daniel, J. Scott Campbell and Ivan Reis.
