DC Collectibles has unveiled the next entry in its popular Batman Black & White statue series: Frank Miller's Armored Batman, as seen in the writer/artist's seminal comic series The Dark Knight Returns.

The statue, numbered at 101 in the series, features Miller's Batman in the armor he wears to take on Superman in the epic finale of the four-issue limited series.

"This armored Batman perfectly encapsulates the worn-out, dystopian vibe from the comics while showing the technological power Batman possesses in the story," DC said of the new statue.

The Batman Black & White statue series features collectibles based on the artwork of popular Batman artists such as Jim Lee, Greg Capullo and Klaus Janson.

Miller is currently diving back into his Dark Knight Returns universe with Superman: Year One, illustrated by John Romita Jr., and it was recently announced that Miller would pen Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child with art by Rafael Grampá.
