The Spirit artist Francisco Francavilla has released special tribute art in honor of Memorial Day.

The American holiday celebrates and honors men and women who died on the battlefield as members of the US military. The Italian-born Francavilla celebrated by releasing a special piece of art for the occasion. The picture, done in Francavilla's distinct style, showcases a lone American soldier still standing, despite an apparent (and potentially fatal) wound. Underneath the art, Francavilla wrote that the piece was "honoring those who gave their all."
