Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their "Prison Break" roles in a 10-episode miniseries, set to air next year on Fox.

The revival, first reported in June, was confirmed this morning by the network during the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills.

"I would describe it as a bit of a sequel," TVLine quotes Fox's Dana Walden as saying. "It picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show. The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back."

Airing from 2005 to 2009, "Prison Break" initially centered on a brilliant structural engineer (Miller) who orchestrates a complicated plan to free his wrongfully convicted brother (Purcell) from a state penitentiary by having himself sentenced there (all the keys to their escape were hidden in Miller's elaborate fully-body tattoo).

The revival will make 2016 a busy year for Miller and Purcell, as they're also reprising their "Flash" roles as Captain Cold and Heat Wave on The CW spinoff "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."
