Bell, who also starred in "The Game," is set to play the role of Jace Turner, "a weathered man who quietly wrestles with the moral ambiguities of a job that regularly requires cold-blooded, calculating efficiency on a day-to-day basis."

Developed by Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”), the series takes a “Midnight Special”-like approach to Marvel’s mutant universe, focusing on two ordinary parents — Acker and Stephen Moyer — who discover their children possess extraordinary powers. Forced to go on the run from the government, the join an underground network of mutants and must fight for their survival.

Nix wrote the pilot for the "X-Men" series, which will be directed by franchise veteran Bryan Singer. They’ll also executive produce alongside Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series does not yet have an official release date.-men social
