With Disney's purchase of 21st Century Fox finalized, the latter's properties are now donning the ears of the House of Mouse, including the decades old Simpson family. The Simpsons smartest child, Lisa Simpson, may soon become a Disney princess herself.

"We actually almost recorded a promo where Lisa was excited that she gets to be a Disney princess,” Yeardley Smith, Lisa Simpson's voice actor, told Variety at Thursday's GLAAD Awards. "I’m excited. Any tiara, anytime, anywhere and any form, sign me up."

But though Smith holds out hope for Lisa to discuss the science of ice physics in Frozen, or for Homer Simpson to take down Thanos, it's tough to turn the tide on a pop culture monolith. "I think that’s a risky proposition, to change something that is so beloved and so entrenched in our society after 30-plus years," she said. "You don’t want to mess with that too much, but you never know."

And it seems, as indicated by a video released soon after the deal's finalization, that Fox is more than eager to reference Disney. The feelings appear to be mutual, as Disney's homepage now includes a new banner featuring characters from The Shape of WaterDeadpool and America's favorite animated family.
