Fox is pulling the plug on Animation Domination High-Def, its late-night Saturday programming block, after less than a year. Broadcast & Cable reports that while the final installment will air June 28, it's likely repeats will continue to air in its time slot.

The network plans to keep the experimental brand alive, however, and has already greenlit two new half-hour series targeted to premiere in primetime in June 2015. There are also plans for more content on digital platforms, like Hulu and FoxADHD.com.

Targeting a young male audience, ADHD premiered in July with four 15-minute series: Axe Cop, based on the popular webcomic by brothers Malachi and Ethan Nicolle (and featuring the voices of Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and Patton Oswalt); High School USA!, a parody of Archie Comics; Lucas Bros. Moving Co.; and Golan the Insatiable.

However, as The Hollywood Reporter notes, few young men tuned in at 11 p.m. Saturdays, an hour when the average viewer is 47 years old. The programming block was also a hit of a headache for Fox affiliates, which had to field complaints about the frequently risque content.
