Fortnite Season 10 has been taking the game's crossover appeal to new levels, with Star WarsHalo and Red Vs Blue skins and sandbox maps. For a game that has already featured both DC and Marvel comic book characters, as well as film and video game icons, Fortnite doesn't seem to be pumping the breaks when it comes to guest skins. Now, the Predator has been revealed as this season's mystery skin.

Like previous mystery skins, players will need to complete a series of tasks in order to unlock the Predator skin. Four of these tasks are currently available, though six more will be unlocked on Jan. 20. It's currently unknown if players will have to complete all themed tasks to unlock the Predator mystery skin, but regardless, fans will have to wait until at least the 20th to get their hands on it.

Currently, the major task is tracking down the "mysterious pod." This is actually a crashed ship that's very reminiscent of those used by Predator in the films. It can be tracked down near Stealthy Stronghold and should be easily spotted. Finding it will actually get Fortnite players an early Predator-themed item: A new banner icon.

The next task is a little more complex, as it involves talking to multiple NPCs: Beef Boss, Remedy and Dummy. They'll be located in three different locations around the map and all need to be spoken to complete this particular task.

The first NPC, Beef Boss, can actually be found at two different locations. The first is the Durr Burger, west of the Weeping Woods. The second location is the Durr Burger food truck, which should be a brief trek east of the mysterious pod found for the previous task. It may be smart to do these two tasks back-to-back, though it should be noted that the current Predator tasks can be done in any order.

The second and third NPCs, Remedy and Dummy, are both found around Pleasant Park. Remedy is going to be inside a house to the northeast and Dummy will be further to the north, out in the open. Once players speak to Beef Boss, Remedy and Dummy, they will unlock the Plasma Cutter Reticle.

The last two currently available tasks are both themed around collecting certain types of items.  The first has players track down three medkits, which can be done all at once or across separate matches.  The medkit collection mission is the last one to reward players with an individual unlock, giving them the Heat Vision Hunter spray. The last collection mission is to track down a single legendary weapon (or rarer) which can be done by searching chests or placing high in matches.

Fortnite players will need to complete additional tasks to unlock the Predator skin, though the exact number has not yet been revealed. Looking at previous mystery skin drops, players probably won't need to do every single task. However, the available ones are pretty easy to do and should help players get a jump start on getting the new Predator Skin in Fortnite. Six more will be release in-game on Jan. 20.
