As Season 10 of Fornite Battle Royale draws to a close, fans have been clamoring for a glimpse of what's to come in the game's next outing. To this point, Epic Games has kept details of Season 11 close to the vest, but a leaked teaser image may give some indication about where the world's most popular game is heading next.

The image, which comes courtesy of streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, features what appears to be an altered version of the Battle Royale map being looked upon by a few default characters. Visible is what looks to be Titled Towers, surrounded by a body of water. This location bears a striking resemblance to the divot between Salty Springs and Titled.

The biggest takeaway from the image is the "Fortnite: Chapter Two" title. For many, the Battle Royale game mode has grown stale over the past few seasons. From the #RemoveTheMech movement to the vaulting of the Combat Shotgun, the world's most popular game has had a difficult time catching a break in recent months. Epic hopes to change that with Season 11, and this title seems to indicate that some crucial changes are coming to Fortnite.

One already-announced alteration to Battle Royale for its upcoming outing is the introduction of Bots. "They will behave similarly to normal players and will help provide a better path for players to grow in skill," Epic explained last month. "Bots will work in conjunction with the new matchmaking system, and as your skill improves, you’ll face fewer Bots. Bots will not be present in Competitive playlists. This is another system that we will continue to update and iterate."

Season 11 is set to kick off Sunday, coinciding with the event that will take place at Dusty Depot. Many have theorized the upcoming incident could see the destruction of the current Battle Royale map, paving the way for a new one to make its way into the game. Without official confirmation from the game's developers, it's difficult to buy into the speculation, as exciting as it would be for much of the Fortnite community.

Fortnite is available across multiple gaming platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows, Nintendo Switch, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
