There will be trouble now that Fortnite adds RoboCop to the game.

The popular battle royale game released a new promo on its Twitter account celebrating the arrival of Omni Consumer Products' cyborg police officer. Sporting nothing more than his iconic look and a pistol, the video shows RoboCop moving throughout the island and decimating other players as if he were patrolling the streets of Detroit. The promo ends with a player riding a tiny version of the ED-209, which will be available in the game as well.

The outfit is based on how actor Peter Weller appears in 1987's RoboCop, rather than Joel Kinnaman's look in the 2014 reboot, which garnered mixed reactions from fans. Released alongside other beloved '80s and '90s action flicks like The Terminator (1984) and Predator (1987), RoboCop features plenty of iconic lines and moments, along with some brutal R-rated violence. However, for Fortnite fans who wish to play as the resurrected Police Officer Alex Murphy, they will have to buy it for more than just a dollar.

The RoboCop skin is running for 1,500 V-Bucks at the Fortnite Item Shop, though it can be purchased as part of a larger bundle. Players cannot play as the hulking ED-209, but the Lil' ED-209 emote (seen in the promo) allows players to ride a smaller version of the robot that is not very good with stairs. Also, players can equip the LEG-209 pickaxe, which looks as a severed leg from the ED-209. The full bundle for the RoboCop skin, LEG-209 pickaxe and Lil' ED-209 emote costs 1,800 V-Bucks total, 700 V-Bucks less than if all items are purchased individually.

This is not the first time in recent years that RoboCop has been made available as additional content for a video game. To shift over from battle royales to one-on-one death matches, as a part of the Aftermath DLC pack for Mortal Kombat 11, gamers can play as RoboCop and go up against the best fighters that Earthrealm, Outworld and others have to offer. For fans of the '80s, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator T-800 is available in the game as well, meaning the debate between whether the T-800 or RoboCop would win in a fight can be settled (outside their match-up from Epic Rap Battles of History).

RoboCop and related add-ons for Fortnite are now available at the Item Shop and for use in the game.
