With Fortnite having just launched Chapter Two, the popular video game is set to stage an epic collaboration with Star Wars ahead of the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.A new leak revealed that upcoming DLC will include an Imperial Stormtrooper skin, complete with characters' signature dancing moves. The unfinished trailer includes a rough model of an Imperial Star Destroyer set to appear on the map as part of the tie-in. It finds two Stormtroopers searching the desert as they had for R2-D2 in the original 1977 film. Instead, the Stormtroopers spot the colorful cast of Fortnite characters, who are ready for battle.
The upcoming DLC is the latest pop culture tie-in for the video game, often timed with the release of high profile films and television series, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe and John Wick.
Fortnite is available across multiple gaming platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows, Nintendo Switch, macOS, iOS and Android devices.
