A major musical event is coming to Fortnite, one featuring Grammy Award-winning singer and actor Ariana Grande.
Epic Games has announced the Rift Tour featuring Ariana Grande, a musical event held in the battle royal game Fortnite. The event will be held from Aug. 6 to Aug. 8 and is comprised of five shows. Epic Games has recommended that players log in at least an hour before a show starts to avoid queues.
News of the event leaked on to Reddit over a week ago from a leaker with a track record for accurate leaks. Ariana Grande will be the latest in a series of musicians who have held events in Fortnite, including Travis Scott, Marshmello and Dominic Fike.
Show 1 is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 6 at 6PM ET; Show 2 for Aug. 7 at 2PM ET, Show 3 at Aug. 8 at 12AM ET, Show 4 for Aug. 8 at 10AM ET and finally, Show 5 will be available on Sunday, Aug. 8 at 6PM ET. In addition to hosting the Rift Tour event, Ariana Grande will also be getting her very own Icon Series set, which players can purchase in the Item Shop.
