Dataminers may have spotted the next big skin coming to Fortnite: Tyler Rake, Chris Hemsworth's character in the 2020 Netflix original film Extraction. As pointed out on Twitter, the skin — named "Dusty" in the game's files — appears to faithfully recreate Hemsworth's tactical vest and uniform from the film, even down to the tattoo visible on the model's forearms. While some fans have speculated that the outfit could function as a generic soldier, the specific tattoos on Dusty's arms make a solid case for Tyler Rake.

This discovery was met with mixed reactions from fans. Extraction received lukewarm reviews from critics and fans alike, and its April 2020 release means the skin isn't all that timely. Fortnite traditionally launches crossover skins alongside major franchise announcements. Among other recent Fortnite collaborations is a skin of Ryan Reynolds' beefy alter ego from the film Free Guy, which released on Aug. 13. The datamined "Dusty" outfit led to some speculation as to why a year-old action film would be receiving a skin alongside more immediately relevant characters.

This may be explained by a Twitter thread pointed out by PCGamesN in which Extraction directors the Russo brothers pose the question of who would win in a fight between John Wick and Tyler Rake. Epic Games' chief creative officer Donald Mustard responds that they should "put Rake in Fortnite and find out."

The existence of the "Dusty" skin, let alone an official release date, has yet to be confirmed by Epic Games. Until then, fans of action movies can don the John Wick skin or mix it up with Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. If you're looking for something more sci-fi, then you're in luck! Players can also purchase skins based on Ellen Ripley from Alien, Daryl and Michonne from The Walking Dead or even Stranger Things' Hopper.

Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.
