Forget Tony Stark, you can print your own Iron Man action figure

We've already seen 3D printing technology used to produce Iron Man-inspired prosthetic hands and life-size Hulkbuster armor. Now one fan has used it to create a fully posable Iron Man action figure.

The Iron Man Mark VI armor is actually the result of an attempt by Tony Davis (not Stark) to scale up an earlier minifigure. He tells 3DPrint.com now that's he successfully scaled the joints -- "the joints get weird when you scale them up and down" -- he plans to create for figures.

Davis has even made all the files for the figure available for free download.
