Actor Billy Slaughter ("Focus") has been added to the cast of MGM's "The Magnificent Seven." Slaughter joins actors Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Haley Bennett, Chris Pratt and Peter Sarsgaard on the set of the Western, reports Variety.

Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day," "The Equalizer") will be directing "Seven," a remake of the classic 1960 film written by John Lee Hancock and Nic Pizzolatto, which revolves around a group of hired gunslingers tasked to protect a small town against a roving band of outlaws.

Billy Slaughter, who also appeared in "Parker," "Battleship" and "Colombiana," can be seen in the upcoming films "The Big Short" alongside Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Ryan Gosling, and "Daddy's Home" with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
