Florida MegaCon guest list expands, includes 'Smallville's' Michael Rosenbaum

ORLANDO, Fla. - December 19, 2002 - The forces of good and evil, along withsome of television's classic stars and the comic book world's favoritecreators, will converge on Orlando from February 28 to March 2, 2003, forthe ninth annual MegaCon at the Orange County Convention Center.

Heading the roster of media guests will be actor Michael Rosenbaum, who haswon a strong fan following for his portrayal of a young Lex Luthor on thecritically acclaimed Warner Brothers television series Smallville. Rosenbaumwill be joined by a collection of some new genre stars and some oldtelevision favorites for the South's largest pop culture show.

MegaCon 2003 will feature two continuous showing anime rooms, Anime Sushi'soutstanding costume contest and dance, Anime JACO's music video contest,hundreds of gaming tracts by SunQuest*, discussion panels with popularartists and writers and the third annual ACTOR auction. ACTOR (A Commitment To Our Roots) is a charity organization that auctionsrare and one-of-a-kind comic book art and memorabilia. The funds generatedhelp provide financial assistance for retired comic book creators. Lastyear, the two ACTOR auctions and other MegaCon fundraising events collectedmore than $170,000 for ACTOR's cause.
