Though Joshua Williamson's acclaimed run on The Flash is coming to a close this September, a new team is ready to take the Scarlet Speedster in a thrilling new direction the following month.

DC Comics has released its advance solicitation information for its titles going on sale October 2020, including The Flash #763, which is the first issue following Williamson's upcoming departure from the title. The new creative team of Kevin Shinick and Clayton Henry will explore the untold history behind Barry Allen's ring which holds his superhero costume, with the Trickster teased to play a major role. William had written over 100 issues of The Flash starting at the dawn of the DC Rebirth era in 2016. With his run coming to an end this September as he departs to work on other DC properties, Shinick and Henry will bring their own voices to the popular superhero as he charts a new future.
