From musicals to magic, "The Flash" is covering lots of new ground in its most recent batch of episodes. Following last night's genre bending outing, the CW superhero drama will leap into the world of magic with the debut of classic comic villain Abra Kadabra (played by "Ant-Man's" David Dastmalchian).

The CW dropped a promo for the episode following last night's musical installment. The trailer, seen below, shows off some of Abra Kadabra's skills and also teases the role he'll play in the series. Since he hails from the 64th century, Kadabra just might know who Savitar is -- and he also might know how to stop him.

“The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side.”

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
