Actor Tom Felton wants to return to CW's The Flash as Julian Albert.
When Digital Spy asked Felton if he would like to return to the show, he replied, "Absolutely, yeah. I miss it. I miss those guys terribly, yeah. I miss Grant [Gustin], and all the team there. I had a great time there in Vancouver for nine months. Yeah, I say bring back Julian!"
Felton, who also played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, revealed the somewhat shocking fact that fans of The Flash approach him more than fans of the popular wizarding franchise. "More fans these days approach me for that than they do for Potter, which is a real tribute, I think," he said. "But yeah, I'll keep saying it... get online and start pestering those producers and say, 'Bring back Julian!'."
Felton played Julian Albert in the show's third season. Under the control of Savitar, Albert became the villain Alchemy. Despite his strained relationship with Barry Allen/Flash, Albert eventually joined Team Flash and became romantically involved with Caitlin Snow. However, by the time the fourth season rolled around, he'd returned to London. Last year, executive producer Todd Helbing left open the possibility of the character returning to the show, though there weren't any plans at that time to bring Felton back.
Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
