As principal photography on the eagerly anticipated Arrowverse crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths" continues in Vancouver, the acclaimed comic creator who helped bring it to life has been seen on set.

Writer Marv Wolfman, who co-created the classic comic book storyline with artist George Perez in 1985, has been pictured in behind-the-scenes photos with Arrowverse stars Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, speaking with the two television superheroes.

While both Gustin and Benoist are both in costume in the leaked photos, posted on Hollywood North, it is unclear if Wolfman is filming a cameo appearance for the crossover or is just reviewing script pages for the production.

Created by Wolfman and Perez in 1985, the Crisis on Infinite Earths had merged the worlds of the DC Multiverse into a singular reality while several fan-favorite characters paid the ultimate price to stop the Anti-Monitor. With the Monitor recruiting the Arrowverse heroes for his own upcoming battle with dark forces, Wolfman and Perez's story was a major inspiration.
