"Elseworlds," the upcoming Arrowverse crossover, is set to feature the debut of Ruby Rose as Kate Kane/Batwoman. The character, who currently has her own spinoff in development, is going to be a major part of the event. Batwoman will come with her very own Bat-Signal, and a new photo from actor Stephen Amell shows the titular heroes of Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash rallied around the iconic device.
The image, which Amell posted on Twitter, shows Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, Grant Gustin as the Green Arrow and himself as the Flash grouped around the Bat-Signal. As they're looking straight at the camera in this photo, it's clear that this isn't a still from production. Rather, it's a behind-the-scenes image of the three actors posing with the Bat-Signal.
A number of other actors are set to make their Arrowverse debuts, including Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor. The event will also see the return of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman and John Barrowman, presumably as Malcolm Merlyn. Promotional material for "Elseworlds" has highlighted Amell and Gustin swapping roles, becoming Flash and the Green Arrow, respectively.
This year's Arrowverse crossover event will involve the casts of Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash. The event will unfold over three nights, starting with a special episode of The Flash on Sunday December 9 at 8 pm ET/PT. Then, it continues Monday, December 10, with Arrow, and concludes on Tuesday, December 11, with Supergirl.
