Former The Flash cast member Carlos Valdes has chimed in on whether he will make a guest appearance on the Arrowverse show's upcoming ninth and final season.

"I just don't know," the actor told TVLine when asked if he would be stopping by Central City to visit Team Flash before The CW show's final run concludes. However, Valdes coyly added that he "can't imagine a scenario" where his character, Cisco, doesn't appear at least once in Season 9, whether it was on set with the rest of the cast or via a quick FaceTime cameo.

Following his Arrowverse debut in Arrow Season 2, Valdes appeared as a main cast member of The Flash in the role of Cisco Ramon/Vibe, who provided tech support for the Scarlet Speedster and the rest of Team Flash. He departed The Flash midway through the seventh season but returned for the season finale, which saw Cisco officiate the West-Allen vow renewal. Since then, the character has been living off-screen in Star City and working for A.R.G.U.S. as the Director of Technology and Science.

The Flash Season 9 Is Packed With Arrowverse Alums

If Valdes does return as Cisco Ramon, he will be one of several Arrowverse alums making an appearance during The Flash Season 9. So far, actors confirmed to be reprising their respective Arrowverse roles include Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman, Andy Mientus as Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper, Nicole Maines as Supergirl's Nia Nal/Dreamer and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Ramsey Russo/Bloodwork. Stephen Amell, David Ramsey and Keiynan Lonsdale will also appear as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, John Diggle/Spartan and Wally West/Kid Flash, respectively, with a first look at their Arrowverse return released in January 2023.
