Team Flash will do whatever it takes to save Barry Allen from "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

In the new trailer for The Flash Season 6, Cisco comes to the conclusion that they need to prevent Barry from vanishing. In order to do that, they will have to change the future.

The new trailer offers some tantalizing teases of what's to come, including some guest appearances by Barry's mother Nora Allen, John Wesley Shipp's Jay Garrick and Tom Cavanagh's new version of Wells. However, no footage of Sendhil Ramamurthy's villain Bloodwork has yet been revealed.

The brief trailer also includes Barry's same voice-over narration from the last teaser: "I saw billions of possible futures. Billions of deaths." This, of course, is a reference to the upcoming "Crisis" crossover, in which Barry is supposed to disappear.

According to the Season 6 premiere synopsis,

Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne (a.k.a. Reverse Flash), and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris’s daughter Nora West-Allen, (a.k.a. XS). The stakes were higher than ever during the season 5 finale, which culminated in Barry and Iris losing their daughter after only just getting to know her. How will they deal with saying goodbye to their speedster daughter, and what does Thawne’s escape mean for Team Flash?

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
