The Flash is only two episodes into its sixth season, and already a new big bad is on the loose. Add in the Monitor’s warning that Barry Allen will die in the upcoming crisis, and you can’t blame Team Flash for feeling like things are looking really bleak.

The CW has released the promo for Season 6’s third episode, “Dead Man Running,” and it sees Barry deliver a grim speech to Killer Frost.

“There’s always going to be a crisis, or some metahuman threatening to take the life that you love,” Barry tells Caitlin Snow’s alter ego. “We’re all living on borrowed time.”

The promo also teases that blood is coming when a new dangerous creature is set loose on Central City.

The Flash’s latest episode already gave fans a first glimpse at the upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” The highly-anticipated crossover event is currently being built up on both Arrow and The Flash,  and will air this December.
