SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Legacy," the Season 5 finale of The Flash.

Love is in the air for Ralph Dibny. "Legacy," the Season 5 finale of The Flash, just teased the arrival of his bride-to-be Sue Dearbon.

After the loss of Nora West-Allen, Team Flash went back to their usual activity. Cisco took Kamilla out on a date, Joe returned to the Central City Police Department, Sherloque Wells went back to his Earth, Caitlin developed a new costume and Ralph began to go through a stack of files on his desk. He picked the first case file off the pile and gave it a look. The name on the file was "Dearbon," indicating that Sue's Flash debut is just around the corner.

In the comics, of course, Sue Dearbon soon becomes Sue Dibny. Debuting in John Broome and Carmine Infantino's The Flash #119 in 1961, Sue was introduced as a New York socialite who married Ralph after a whirlwind romance. Occasionally working as an administrator for the Justice League, she moved around the country with him as he performed superheroics. She was murdered in 2004's Identity Crisis, sparking a murder mystery storyline, but returned in ghostly forms or otherwise during DC's New 52 relaunch.

Throughout The Flash Season 5, Ralph coached his friend Cisco through his relationship with Kamilla. As he lamented to Caitlin, Ralph seemed to be able to help everyone but himself find love. With the introduction of Sue, things may be about to change for Elongated Man, especially in the romance department.

Returning this fall on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanaugh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
