SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "The Flash Reborn," the Season 4 premiere of The Flash.

In "The Flash Reborn," The Flash Season 4 premiere, Caitlin Snow was herself again -- sort of. Caitlin spent much of the episode helping the rest of Team Flash, but Killer Frost certainly isn't gone for good. In fact, she reared her snow-white head once more at the end of the episode.

When Cisco came upon Caitlin, she was working as a bartender in a seedy joint. At the time, she had brown eyes and red hair, which seemed to suggest that she was fully Caitlin again. This is how she spent the bulk of the episode, even asking Joe for forgiveness after what her alter-ego had done to him and his girlfriend Cecile. Her acceptance back into the group was almost instantaneous and it seemed as though she had recovered from her villainous turn in Season 3, as she promised Cisco that she would return to Team Flash.

However, at the end of the episode, she returned to the bar and told the one-eyed man from earlier in the episode that she quit -- but from what, she never said. "Tell Amunette I'm out," she said, to which the man responded, "You want to quit, Snow? It doesn't work that way. You do as Amunette says as long as she tells you."

When Caitlin walked away from the confrontation, the man attacked her. This triggered a transformation in Caitlin, who almost immediately assumed her Killer Frost persona, complete with blue eyes and white hair. She tossed him into a pinball machine with a quip of "You wouldn't like me when I'm frosty" and sauntered out of the bar into a back alley.

However, when she got into the alleyway, Killer Frost stumbled. "Not yet," she gasped. Then, leaning into a railing, she said, "No, no, no!" and her eyes faded back to brown and her hair turned red again. "Not again," she whispered, and the scene cut away from her.

The scene asked more questions than it answered, but one thing is for certain: Caitlin has some degree of control over her Killer Frost persona. However, it's unclear how much control she has or if she somehow struck a deal with Killer Frost to share time in the same body.

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
