The Flash Races to a Post-Crisis World in New Clip

Ever since the start of the Arrowverse series, The Flash's mysterious disappearance during a future crisis has been teased and, in a new clip, Barry Allen sets out to explore a world without the Scarlet Speedster for himself.

The CW has released a promo for Season 6's second episode, titled "A Flash of Lighting," that sees Barry use his super-speed to venture into the future beyond the upcoming Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

While what Barry sees in the future is unclear based on the clip, he is seen uniting with Jay Garrick from Earth-3, who ominously informs him that something is definitely coming that will alter the Arrowverse forever.

Jay's return was confirmed with official stills released earlier this month, showing the two speedsters reunited along with the reveal of Jay's wife Joan, an alternate reality doppelgänger of Barry's own late mother Nora.

With the crisis moved up by five years, Team Flash will have to work quickly to avoid Barry's long-prophesied death.
