Caitlin Snow is in big trouble. In a new behind-the-scenes featurette for "Killer Frost," the Kevin Smith-directed episode of "The Flash," she finds herself the subject of a manhunt after her metahuman powers begin to control her actions -- and it's all Barry's fault.

As it turns out, Caitlin will use her powers to save Barry, but this is exactly what pushes her past the tipping point. A few episodes prior, her mother warned her that using her powers would make her Killer Frost persona stronger, and that's a prophecy that becomes realized after this pinnacle moment. Now, she has kidnapped Barry's labmate Julian Albert and the whole CCPD is after her, including Greg Grunberg's Detective Tom Patterson.

In the brief clip, Patterson makes it very clear how he feels about metahumans: they're all crazy. What's worse, he seems to know who Caitlin is, which means she won't have a secret identity anytime soon.

"She isn't quite herself and she kind of goes against the team," executive producer Todd Helbing explains in the video. "It's really Barry and Cisco that have to go up and fight one of their best friends and sort of stop her from fully turning into Killer Frost."

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
