French entertainment museum Art Ludique has shared some concept art that shows what the Flash could have looked like in the upcoming Justice League film.
This version of Barry Allen's suit differs from the final design in a lot of ways. The concept art shows a far sleeker design that looks more like an amplified running suit than the armor he will sport in the movie. The piece plays up the lines woven into the suit, which is far subtler in the official version. The coloring is also a little more washed out in this one.
The concept was created by Michael Wilkinson, who worked on Justice League as the film's costume designer. He has worked with Zack Snyder on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel, Sucker Punch, Watchmen and 300.
Art Ludique is an entertainment museum in Paris that is currently showing an exhibit titled "The Art of DC – Dawn of the Super Heroes," which is dedicated to DC Comics superheroes and their adaptations in film and television. The expo -- which showcases Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman memorabilia -- has been extended through January 2018.
Opening November 17, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Raymond Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Amber Heard as Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
