WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Love Is a Battlefield," the latest episode of The Flash.

Just a week after confirming the death of Earth-2's Harry Wells, The Flash is teasing his return.

In "Love Is a Battlefield," the latest episode, Harrison "Nash" Wells paid Frost a visit at C.C. Jitters. The two had a brief heart-to-heart, where Frost suggested that Nash was acting parental towards Allegra. Nash danced around the question without confirming or denying the allegation, but seemed pleased nonetheless -- until, that is, he got a glimpse of Harry.

After Nash glanced affectionately at Allegra, he turned to look back at Frost, but she was gone. Instead, he saw Harry looming by the door. His face crumpled at the sight. They stared at one another for a moment. Then, when someone walked in between them, Harry seemed to disappear into thin air, leaving Nash troubled and confused.

Given his sudden disappearance, it is unclear at the time of writing if Harry was actually present, while his daughter Jesse remaining unaccounted for. It is certainly possible that Harry was just a vision -- perhaps a remnant of the guilt Nash feels for playing a role in the mutliverse's destruction. However, considering Harry also appeared in the promo for next week's episode, The Flash will likely provide a quick answer to this mystery.

Harry's universe, Earth-2, was one of the first major causalities of "Crisis on Infinite Earths." The whole universe was destroyed by the Anti-Monitor after Nash accidentally released him from a vault underneath Central City. It was wiped out by the antimatter wave, but Harry and Jesse's fates were left up in the air for a while. Last week, The Flash appeared to confirm they didn't survive, with Cisco blaming Nash for that.

Both Harry and Jesse were introduced in Season 2. Harry appeared as the season's main Wells, kickstarting the show's tradition of introducing a new version of the character every year, while his daughter Jesse frequently guest starred. Jesse received her own speedster powers later that same season, becoming the superhero known as Jesse Quick. They both reappeared on the series for the next couple seasons. Jesse last appeared in Season 4's "Enter Flashtime," while Harry retired in Season 4's "We Are the Flash."

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/CT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
