The Flash Pits Gorilla Grodd Against King Shark in Epic New Poster

The Flash and Gorilla Grodd

Tonight, the eagerly anticipated return of The Flash premieres on The CW with an epic showdown between two iconic villains.

Aptly titled "King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd," the DCTV series returns after a brief hiatus as Team Flash turns to King Shark (voiced by David Hayter) to stop a resurgent Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) from attacking Central City. To commemorate the episode, the network has released a poster with the two animalistic characters duking it out.

In addition to the poster, the Arrowverse series has also released a set of new official stills showing Grodd using his mind-controlling helmet with the Flash, XS and Vibe appealing to King Shark for help while later stills display both Barry Allen and his daughter incapacitated by the villain.

With its two speedster heroes down for the count, it looks as though the fate of Central City lies in King Shark's hands as the streets become a battlefield between the two hulking figures.

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanaugh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
