At the start of DC Rebirth, August Heart/Godspeed found himself connected to the Speed Force following a massive storm in Central City. August initially started as a hero, working as Barry Allen's partner, but that all changed after his brother's killer was set free. In response to the perceived injustice, August used his powers to get revenge, but he ended up targeting the wrong person. This eventually led to him fighting against -- and losing to -- Barry before seemingly reforming. However, in Flash #750, Barry and Godspeed are facing off again for good reason: Paradox knows the truth about who killed August's brother, Jorge.

The Flash #750's opening follows Barry and Iris West as they recover following the events of the previous arc, which saw Captain Cold and his Rogues taking over Central City and turning it into an icy wasteland. Just as Iris is about to share two surprises with Barry, Godspeed rushes into the Scarlet Speedster's lab. Godspeed provokes Barry into following him to the Flash Museum, where Paradox is waiting to ambush the hero. When they arrive the location, Godspeed reveals Paradox "knows who killed my brother."

The death of Jorge, which has remained unsolved, was Godspeed's main motivation for doing terrible things. Although he'd seemingly reformed, the lure of knowing the truth about his brother's death is too much and forces Godspeed back into a life of crime. Godspeed also has absolutely no reason to doubt Paradox can deliver on this promise, as the villain's powers are related to time.

Before their battle begins in earnest, Paradox gives Barry a choice: "Give up being the Flash or watch everything you've built be destroyed." With Godspeed at his side, Paradox may very well be able to take the Scarlet Speedster out for good. However, the preview for Flash #751 teases Commander Cold -- who hails from the 25th century -- as having left Barry and Iris his knowledge of the future. This means they could very well find a way to sway Godspeed back to their side using Commander Cold's information, so it's possible Barry might be able to wriggle his way out of this situation yet.

The Flash #751 releases March 11 from DC.
