Andy Muschietti has something special planned for fans of The Flash at DC FanDome.

In an Instagram video released by The Flash producer Barbara Muschietti, the director took a moment to talk to fans from the set of the film's production in Leavesden, England. With an oversized Flash figure in hand, Muschietti speaks to the fans, saying, "We have a little surprise for you Saturday, October 16th." This comes only days after DC provided the first glimpse of Ezra Miller in the filmThe Flash finished filming last week after 124 days in production.

Miller previously appeared as the character in the ensemble cast for Justice League and had cameos in both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and David Ayer's Suicide Squad. However, The Flash will be the first time the Scarlet Speedster stars in his own big-screen blockbuster, making it a highly anticipated ticket for many fans.

The Flash is one of many films to be featured during DC FanDome, streaming this Saturday. The virtual event will also include the world premiere of a new trailer for The Batman from director Matt Reeves, as well as the first look at footage from Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Shazam! Fury of the Gods and DC League of Super-Pets. Additionally, there are panels planned for Batwoman, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, Peacemaker and Supergirl, as well as upcoming projects from J.J. Abrams and Reginald Hudlin.

On top of an appearance from Miller, DC FanDome will feature a hearty helping of top-tier celebrity guests, including Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Dwayne Johnson, John Cena and Zachary Levi. They will be present for segments that run throughout the stream, introducing their individual projects while offering unique insights into what fans have to look forward to.

After experiencing numerous setbacks, The Flash is currently scheduled for a Nov. 4, 2022 release date. The movie is reportedly inspired by the events of Flashpoint, a five-issue miniseries that was originally released in 2011 and revolves around the Flash traveling back in time to save his mother's life. In that story, Barry's action changed the DC Universe, leading to the creation of the New 52. This new film will expand upon that premise by bringing in elements of classic DC films, such as Michael Keaton's Dark Knight from Batman and Batman Returns. Also included in The Flash are Ben Affleck in a reprisal of his own rendition of Batman and newcomer Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
