SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Godspeed," the latest episode of The Flash.

The Flash just unveiled a glimpse at the Arrowverse's upcoming four-show crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths." In "Godspeed," the latest episode, Nora West-Allen discovered her father Barry's final message to her. The recording was set against the backdrop of "Crisis," the event in which he infamously disappears.

The episode revealed the events that led Nora to travel back in time to meet her father. As she discovered her powers and developed a bond with Reverse-Flash, he told her about the Time Vault, the secret room within STAR Labs' walls. There, she met the A.I. Gideon for the first time.

Gideon greeted Nora like an old friend. When Nora asked the A.I. how she knew who she was, Gideon informed her that she is the daughter of the Flash. As Nora struggled to digest this information, Gideon added that she had a message for Nora from her father. Nora immediately asked her to play it.

At Nora's request, Gideon pulled up a video filmed by Barry. Though Barry's face takes up most of the screen, a red sky looms ominously in the background. The sounds of a battle rage around him; Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen can even be heard shouting indistinctly. At one point, something off-screen flashes and causes Barry to flinch.

"Nora, I don't have much time," Barry said, smiling with tears in his eyes. "If you're watching this, it means you're like me. You have powers! It also means I wasn't there to help you learn how to use them. I wasn't there for a lot of things. Remember, my sweet Nora, always remember: I love you. I always will."

Red skies are, of course, are significant to Marv Wolfman and George Perez's DC Comics event Crisis on Infinite Earths. When the sky turns red, it heralds the death of the multiverse. What's more, The Flash has teased Barry's disappearance in this event since the very first episode. In the series premiere, Barry discovered an article by his wife Iris West-Allen, who wrote that Flash "Vanishes in Crisis." Thanks to Nora, we know he never returns.

Between the red skies and Barry's realization that he won't be there for Nora, this "Godspeed" scene points directly to "Crisis on Infinite Earths." Additionally, showrunner Todd Helbing teased that "Crisis" will deal with this Flash storyline. "We've certainly been teasing [the headline] a long time, but it's a major factor in next year's crossover," Helbing said in an earlier interview. "There will be little tidbits here and there that people will be able to start to put together."

Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanaugh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
