The first set photo of Jordan Fisher's Bart Allen has surfaced, which features the new cast member of The Flash sporting a comics-accurate Impulse costume.
The photo of Fisher's Bart Allen dressed as Impulse was captured by Canadagraphs and reshared on Instagram, which captures the Arrowverse star in the superhero costume fans of the comics have come to be familiar with.
"Bart is the fastest teenager on the planet! But due to Bart's penchant for wildly impulsive behavior, stunned parents Barry and Iris will have their hands full trying to teach their new son patience," the character description for Bart Allen reads. "But it's a task they'll have to accomplish, in order for their family to work together and stop Team Flash's biggest threat yet!"
Jordan Fisher was announced to be joining The Flash as Bart Allen at the end of March. Bart Allen is Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen's son from the future, though at this time the reason why he has time-traveled to the past is unknown. Bart Allen's first appearance will take place on The Flash's 150th episode, where he will also be joined by his sister, the returning Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen, aka XS.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh. New episodes air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
