When The Flash returns for Season 8, they'll bring a few extra Arrowverse friends along for the ride.

The Flash will launch Season 8 on Nov. 16 with a five-part special event titled "Armageddon." The event will feature a slew of Arrowverse actors new and old, including Javicia Leslie (Batwoman), Brandon Routh (The Atom), Cress Williams (Black Lightning), Chyler Leigh (Sentinel), Kat McNamara (Mia Queen), Osric Chau (Ryan Choi), Tom Cavanagh (Reverse-Flash) and Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk).

Notably, of the announced guests, only Leslie is a current Arrowverse star in her role as the lead of Batwoman. Williams and McNamara have not resurfaced on any other Arrowverse shows since Black Lightning and Arrow ended. Likewise, with Supergirl ending this year, Leigh's future in the Arrowverse is unclear. Though DC's Legends of Tomorrow remains on air, Routh and McDonough were both written off the series in Season 5 and have not been seen since, while Cavanagh exited The Flash early in Season 7. Chau has made only one Arrowverse appearance so far, in "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Three."

"Simply put, these are going to be some of the most emotional Flash episodes ever," The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace teased. "Plus, there are some truly epic moments and huge surprises that await our fans. And we're doing them on a scale that's bigger and bolder than our traditional Flash episodes. So yes, 'Armageddon' is a lot more than just another graphic novel storyline. It's going to be a true event for Flash and Arrowverse fans, old and new. Honestly, I can't wait for audiences to see what we've got planned."
