According to a post from the official "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" twitter account, J.K. Rowling has confirmed that five more films, set in the Harry Potter universe, will follow "Fantastic Beasts."

In addition to creating the universe, Rowling serves as producer on all the Potterverse films.

It's unclear if the films will specifically be "Fantastic Beasts" sequels, or if they'll merely be set in the same universe. Regardless, we now know there are plenty more adventures to be told from the Wizarding World over the next few years.

The news comes just after reports of a "Fantastic Beasts" sequel in the works, currently slated for a November 16, 2018 release. David Yates is returning to direct, alongside Rowling, David Heyman and Steve Kloves, who are producing. The film will explore "an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world," after the events of the original "Fantastic Beasts," which follows magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), whose textbook is later used by Harry, Ron, Hermione and the other students at Hogwarts.

Directed by Yates, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens Nov. 16.
