For those who remember the '90s well, the O.J. Simpson trial -- both the horrific double-murder at the center of the case and the unprecedented media circus that resulted -- stands as a benchmark event of the era. "Big Eyes" and "The People vs. Larry Flynt" writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski are adapting the real-life story for the first season of FX anthology "American Crime Story," executive produced by "American Horror Story" creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (and serving as a companion to that successful series), with a minute-long trailer released Wednesday.

In the trailer, many familiar faces are spotted as other familiar faces -- headlined by Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, and also featuring John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Selma Blair as Kris Kardashian and "American Horror Story" vet Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

"American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson" is scheduled to debut Feb. 2, 2016 on FX.
