Jujutsu Kaisen stars Yūji Itadori, an abnormally athletic high school student. When Yūji gets caught in the crosshairs of a supernatural battle at his school, he makes the rash decision to swallow the cursed finger of a powerful Curse known as Sakuna. This demonic fusion of human and monster makes Yūji both a Curse-fighting weapon and a target for the battling sorcerers who induct him into their ranks.

Created by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018 and simulpublished in English by Viz Media on Shueisha's Manga Plus (Shonen Jump) app since January 2019. The anime adaption is being produced by MAPPA and directed by Seong Ho Park, who is also handling directorial duties for the studio's adaptation of The God of High School, produced by Crunchyroll, and set to be released this July.

As of yet, there is no information on an English-language release of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.

Adapted by MAPPA from Gege Akutami's manga series of the same name, Jujutsu Kaisen will be released this October.
