Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts doesn't begin shooting "Kong: Skull Island" until Monday, but set pictures from his production have already found their way online. As SuperHeroHype points out, Reel Tours Hawaii has posted a series of images to Twitter and Instagram showing some very interesting set pieces and even a few actors on set.
Two of the images show a giant ape skull in various forms of destruction, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Corey Hawkins, Thomas Mann, and Jason Mitchell checking out one of their new rides. Take a look below.
Along with Jackson, Hawkins, Mann, and Mitchell, the film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Tian Jing, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell. Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy, and Derek Connolly wrote the script. "Kong: Skull Island" is due out March 10, 2017 from Legendary, the first of three upcoming films that connect Godzilla and King Kong, leading to their big clash in "Godzilla vs. King Kong" in 2020.
