The Apocalypse has arrived, and it's all Jane Austen's fault.

While the celebrated author didn't actually cause the zombie apocalypse, the first television spot for Sony Pictures' adaptation of the mash-up horror novel by Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith shows there's plenty of trouble -- and zombies -- when high society means horror. Set in a zombie-ravaged 19th Century England, all of the novel's familiar characters are here, with Lily James as Elizabeth Bennet and Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy, they just don't quite resemble the versions you probably remember from your English lit class.

Directed by Burr Steers, “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” also stars Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance and Lena Headey. The film opens Feb. 5 in the United States and Feb. 12 in the United Kingdom.
