The Terrifics' First Preview Builds on Dark Nights: Metal Mysteries

The Terrifics doesn't arrive in stores until February, but DC Comics has released an early preview of the series. And while the first glimpse of Jeff Lemire, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado's story certainly offers plenty of cosmic-level action, it leaves us with a few questions regarding a few as-yet unsolved mysteries of Dark Nights: Metal.

For starters, assuming this sequence takes place after Metal concludes, why is Plastic Man still in egg form? Does his state have something to do with the series' over-arching Tom Strong mystery? How does Simon Stagg know about the Dark Multiverse, and what is he hoping to gain from accessing it? And is Metamorpho able to replicate Nth Metal as well as Earth's various elements?

For the answer to these questions, we'll just have to wait until Lemire, Reis and Prado's first issue arrives on Feb. 28. Until then, check out the preview below.
