Comic-Con International may be in the rear view, but the advance peeks at upcoming comic book-based films are still coming: The cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly sees three stars of 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse" in full costume: franchise newcomers Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse; plus the returning Michael Fassbender as Magneto.

Fassbender's look is still in the classic Magneto mold, and is the latest evolution from his previous outfits in 2011's "X-Men: First Class" and 2014's "X-Men: Days of Future Past." Both Isaac's Apocalypse and Munn's Psylocke costumes follows the comic book source material very closely, as further evidenced by an interior page from the EW issue, also featuring Alexandra Shipp as a mohawk-sporting Storm.

Four more "X-Men: Apocalypse" images from EW have made their way online, including Mystique Jennifer Lawrence) face to face with Quicksilver (Evan Peters); Professor Xavier (James McAvoy, still with hair), Beast (Nicholas Hoult); and director Bryan Singer on set.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is scheduled for release on May 27, 2016.
