The first full trailer for Mission Impossible: Fallout arrived earlier this morning, introducing DCEU star Henry Cavill to the world of Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team of elite spies at the Impossible Missions Force.

Here, however, Cavill is no Superman. Sporting the mustache that spawned a thousand memes when it was digitally removed from his Justice League scenes, the action star plays villain rather than hero. Cavill plays a top-level assassin who sees a target painted on Ethan and his team -- exactly the sort of problem you don't want to deal with when you're trying to prevent a nuclear holocaust from destroying the world.

Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt in Fallout, joined by returning co-stars Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, and Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, along with franchise newcomers Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett and Vanessa Kirby. Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote and directed 2015’s Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, is also back for the anticipated sequel.

Also starring Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Sian Brooke and Frederick Schmidt, Mission: Impossible — Fallout arrives in theaters July 27.
