Last month, DC released the cover art for Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's next Batman project: Batman: Last Knight on Earth. Now, the first interior pages from the project have been revealed.
Snyder released a teaser on his Twitter that shows the Dark Knight gazing down at someone under an umbrella on a stormy night. The teaser, which was drawn by Capullo and inked by Jonathan Glapion, does not feature text.

In addition to that image, Twitter user LodiX showed several colored panels from the project. These images were later retweeted by Capullo. One set of panels includes Batman looking at the Joker's disembodied head. The Clown Prince of Crime's eyes open as he appears to let out his signature cackle. One of the other panels features Alfred Pennyworth holding up the costume Bruce wears in the aforementioned panels, which is similar to a straightjacket with a cowl.
Every time. Every time I see @Ssnyder1835 and @GregCapullo name together on a project my brain listens to BTO’s “The Boys are Back in Town”. Never fails. pic.twitter.com/2SDlCPvSTS
