Filmmakers in Nepal shooting 2016's "Doctor Strange," must have forgotten to cast their spell of concealment.

Just days after the first glimpses of Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange hit the internet, we now have our first look at Chiwetel Ejiofor in costume for his role as Baron Mordo in the upcoming Mystical Arts Marvel feature.

Captured in the streets of Kathmandu's Patan Durbar Square, Ejiofor can be seen walking beside Cumberbatch in ornate robes and boots, befitting a sorcerer. It appears as though the Mordo character is playing guide for Strange, whose hands are wrapped up, presumably due to the lingering damage that sends the surgeon on his weird journey.

Comics' fans know Baron Mordo to be a nemesis to Strange, despite friendly appearances here. Also of minor note; though Strange is not in his own familiar, mystic regalia, doesn't the red and blue color scheme of his costume, and the way the collars of his shirts and jacket mirror the look of the doctor's Cloak of Levitation from the comics? And isn't the green of Mordo's robes a stark contrast to that red and blue? These visual cues could hint at the eventual dynamic between the two.

The images come courtesy of ComicBookMovie.com, who give a nod of their cap to The Kathmandu Post. Many images from the filming were also uploaded to social media.
