Coming on the heels of the debut of the Ninjak reveal, Valiant Entertainment has revealed a first look at "Power Rangers" alum Jason David Frank as the nano-empowered Bloodshot from the publisher's live-action collaboration with Bat in the Sun, producers of the popular "Super Power Beat Down" videos.
The digital series series will star Valiant's suave, high-tech master of stealth Ninjak as he takes on the best-known heroes of Valiant's superhero universe. In addition to Michael Rowe ("Arrow," "The Flash") as Ninjak and Frank as Bloodshot, the project also stars Kevin Porter (“Dodgeball”), Ciera Foster (“Straight Outta Compton”), John Morrison (“WWE,” “Lucha Underground”), Derek Theler (“Baby Daddy”) and Chantelle Barry (“90210,” “Entourage”).
Bloodshot is an amnesiac assassin, implanted with many contradicting memories. His nano-machines grant him all kinds of abilities, but he is most noticeable for his ability to heal.
The image, which arrives courtesy of ComicBook.com, is a variant cover for "Bloodshot" #14 that will be available for free Friday, Oct. 7, at New York Comic Con during Frank's signing session. More details about the project will be announced Saturday, Oct. 8, during the “Valiant X Bat in the Sun: Top-Secret Project Panel."
New York Comic Con will be held Oct. 6-9 at the Javits Center in New York City.
