A first look at Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger locked in combat with Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen.

With the second season of "Arrow" fast approaching, more information continues to surface on what to expect from the CW drama's second year. TV Guide has posted a first look at Michael Jai White's portrayal of villain Bronze Tiger. The photo shows Oliver Queen locked in combat with Bronze Tiger, who has aligned himself with China White and the Chinese Triad.

"Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TV Guide. "His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master...they've all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character. ... If you're a fan of the character from the comics, you are going to really happy with his 'Arrow'-fication."

The original Bronze Tiger first appeared in the 1970s, and went on to become a member of the Suicide Squad -- a membership reflected during the upcoming season of "Arrow." The character is set to recur during the course of the season, according to TV Guide.

White, an alum of "Spawn" and "Mortal Kombat: Legacy," was announced as a season two guest star during Comic-Con International 2013. Other notable guest stars in the upcoming season are "True Blood's" Kevin Alejandro as Sebastian Blood, Summer Glau as Isabel Rochev and Caity Lotz as Black Canary.

"Arrow" season two debuts October 9 on the CW.
